Taylor Vincent

Welcome! I’m Taylor Vincent, a PhD Candidate in the Government and Politics Department at the University of Maryland-College Park. I am studying International Relations and Comparative Politics. My primary research interests include gender and politics, postwar politics, and the legacies of civil conflict. Previously, I was a Pre-doctoral fellow with the Gender and Security Sector Lab at Cornell University. My work has been published at The Economics of Peace and Security Journal and Journal of Peace Research.

Prior to UMD, I received my MA in Political Science from Duke University, worked at a non-profit working on employment opportunities for those in poverty and largely the formerly incarcerated based in the St. Louis, MO region, and received BA in Political Science and Anthropology from Purdue University.
